What you'll do
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, timelines, resources, and budget requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, expectations, and deliverables, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues that may arise throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and ensuring effective communication across all levels of the organization.
- Implement best practices in project management methodologies, promoting a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and operations, to ensure project execution.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring that projects remain within financial constraints.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and identify lessons learned for future projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or PMP certification is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the construction, engineering, or technology sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from conception to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, including Agile, Waterfall, and MS Project.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in project management software and tools, with a strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Experience with budget management and financial reporting.
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and relationship-building.
Nice to have
- Experience in the construction or engineering industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to project management.
- Previous experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment.
