What you'll do
- Validate and track purchase orders while ensuring strict adherence to internal policies and procedural integrity.
- Monitor order progress in real time to identify potential supply chain delays and implement corrective actions swiftly.
- Manage procurement dashboards and analyze spending patterns to uncover cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation.
- Serve as the primary contact for logistics vendors and track supplier performance metrics to ensure service level targets are met.
- Support category managers by gathering in-depth market research and preparing Request for Information and Request for Proposal documentation.
- Maintain ERP and procurement software records with precision, ensuring that all supply chain contracts and supplier data are current and accurate.
- Guide new vendors through the qualification, risk assessment, and onboarding process to facilitate smooth integration into the ecosystem.
- Collaborate with the finance team to assist with budget management, variance analysis, and invoice processing to maintain financial accuracy.
- Analyze historical data to forecast future demand and supply constraints, enabling proactive decision-making.
- Conduct regular audits of procurement activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Streamline communication flows between stakeholders to reduce lead times and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain vendor databases, ensuring that all contact and performance information is meticulously organized.

Requirements
- Hold a BA or BS degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or Supply Chain Management from an accredited institution.
- Possess 1 to 5 years of professional experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain operations within a commercial environment.
- Demonstrate fluency in the English language, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with global stakeholders.
- Exhibit a strong ability to analyze data and identify trends using spreadsheets and basic statistical tools.
- Show proven experience managing relationships with international stakeholders across different time zones and cultural contexts.
- Display a capacity to handle shifting priorities and consistently meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Bring a meticulous approach to detail, ensuring accuracy in data entry, reporting, and documentation.
- Maintain a solid understanding of procurement principles, including contract management and supplier evaluation.
