Key facts
What you'll do
- Create entries for assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses by reviewing accounting data.
- Evaluate trial balance variances for accuracy.
- Review consolidated group information, including Balance Sheet and P&L fluxes, to assist with financial disclosures.
- Ensure all activities meet legal requirements.
- Attend project meetings and track progress toward objectives.
- Draft and implement new accounting policies for the group.
- Provide guidance to team members regarding specific accounting tasks.
- Monitor internal controls to ensure they are documented and functioning correctly.
- Assist with external audit procedures.
- Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records.
- Analyze financial results to support management decision-making.
- Interpret regulatory changes and assess their impact on financial reporting.
- Coordinate with local finance teams to ensure adherence to group policies.
- Prepare financial reports to present to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor or master degree in accounting, management, economics, or auditing.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, or consolidation.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to perform precise numeric calculations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on meeting strict deadlines.
- Capability to communicate effectively across different departments.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to prepare professional presentations and reports.
- High level of autonomy and responsibility.

Nice to have

- Experience in consolidation from either a preparer or auditor perspective.
