- Develop a profound understanding of customer needs within your designated product area, transforming insights into distinct and compelling product positioning.
- Streamline how Faire communicates with customers by eliminating jargon and challenging unnecessary complexities in the product.
- Adjust and enhance positioning for existing products to better connect with evolving or new target audiences.
- Ensure a cohesive narrative across multiple product launches, treating them as part of a larger story rather than isolated events.
- Take full ownership of the go-to-market strategy, overseeing everything from positioning to launch and ongoing user adoption.
- Execute product launches efficiently, making informed decisions even when information is incomplete and refining approaches post-launch.
- Strategically sequence customer education initiatives across various channels to encourage behavior change at optimal times.
- Collaborate with teams such as Revenue, Customer Experience, and Lifecycle to coordinate enablement efforts effectively.
- Act as a customer-centric partner with Product, Design, Legal, and other departments, leveraging customer insights to influence product roadmaps.
- Dedicate time to engaging with customers directly, ensuring their perspectives are integrated into strategic planning discussions.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance productivity and accelerate workflows, while fostering a culture of learning and experimentation within the Product Marketing Management team.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in product marketing or a similar role, with direct accountability for positioning, messaging, sales enablement, and go-to-market strategies for complex products.
- Proven track record of creating product positioning from the ground up and refining existing messaging to ensure consistency across all channels.
- Ability to establish structure and direction in ambiguous situations where the path forward may not be immediately clear.
- Experience in crafting thematic marketing campaigns that encompass multiple product areas rather than focusing solely on individual launches.
- Proficient in leveraging data to identify market opportunities, assess outcomes, and validate strategic decisions.
- Background in conducting or managing customer research and translating findings into effective product positioning.
- Familiarity with AI tools to enhance work efficiency and quality, along with a willingness to assist colleagues in adopting AI practices in product marketing.
