About the role

The Lakiernik (m/k) position at Example Corp. represents a critical operational function within our surface treatment organization. You will own the full surface preparation and coating process for critical transport components, ensuring strict adherence to technical drawings and operational procedures. You will apply protective and decorative coatings using airless, airmix, pneumatic, and hydrodynamic application technologies across a variety of assemblies. You will collaborate closely with engineering and quality teams to translate documentation requirements into precise, repeatable work instructions. You will inspect and measure coated surfaces using appropriate tools to verify compliance with specifications and standards. You will actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process variations and proposing corrective actions. You will maintain a consistently high standard of workmanship while supporting the broader production goals of the Wrocław facility. What you'll do

Prepare structural surfaces for coating through methods such as sanding, filling, and localized repair according to technical specifications.

Select and set up appropriate application equipment including airless, airmix, pneumatic, and hydrodynamic spray systems for each task.

Execute anti-corrosion protection measures in line with prevailing industry standards and documented procedures.

Perform precise dimensional checks and use measuring instruments to validate coating thickness and coverage during and after application.

Interpret technical documentation, work instructions, and assembly manuals to ensure operations follow defined processes.

Monitor and maintain the quality of your output, conducting self-checks to confirm that every coat meets defined standards.

Uphold health, safety, and environmental rules in every activity, strictly following BHP guidelines for the workplace.

Work reliably within shift schedules and support team objectives, demonstrating flexibility when production requirements change.

Coordinate with colleagues to ensure handovers are clear and that any issues affecting surface integrity are escalated promptly.

Maintain cleanliness and organization around your workstation to support a safe, efficient, and high-quality working environment.

Contribute feedback on materials, tools, and processes that can improve productivity or coating performance.

Record activities accurately, supporting traceability and enabling continuous refinement of operational practices.

Requirements

Candidates must bring prior experience in painting steel structures, with proven ability using hydrodynamic and pneumatic spraying techniques.

You must be capable of preparing surfaces to an appropriate standard, including sanding, filling, and sealing before coating application.

Familiarity with measurement tools and basic technical drawing interpretation is essential for following specifications correctly.

The ability to work from technical documentation and follow detailed instructions without constant supervision is required.

Willingness to work in rotating shifts and to collaborate effectively within a team environment is mandatory.

You should demonstrate independence, attention to detail, and the skill to assess your own work quality consistently.

A commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards is non-negotiable in this role.

Reliability and a methodical approach to tasks are necessary to maintain production flow and reduce rework.

Nice to have

Previous work in a transport manufacturing or industrial coating environment is preferred.

Experience with railway vehicles, automotive production, or similar high-volume coating operations is an advantage.

Familiarity with quality management systems and continuous improvement methods such as lean practices is valued.
