About the role
The Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible for positive guest interactions by welcoming guests, handling transactions in a friendly and efficient manner, and maintaining a clean and inviting restaurant facility. You will follow designated opening and closing procedures for the restaurant, which includes performing housekeeping functions for both the restaurant and restroom areas. You will engage with guests proactively, offering assistance as needed to ensure their needs are met throughout their visit. The role requires accurate use of a point of sale (POS) system to charge guests, apply discounts, and process payments correctly. You will also be responsible for cleaning and clearing tables efficiently, especially during busy periods, by pre-bussing items to ensure quick table turnover. Additionally, you will monitor food stock levels and alert the Restaurant Manager whenever items are out of stock or discrepancies in pricing arise. The position also involves moving tables, chairs, and bus stations to support housekeeping efforts and assist with snow removal as needed.

- Maintain cleanliness of bus stations by removing trash and recycling on a regular basis.
- Clear and clean tables efficiently, pre-bussing items during busy times to enable quick table turnover.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure all food items are adequately stocked.
- Move tables, chairs, and bus stations as necessary to facilitate housekeeping and snow removal.
- Engage with guests throughout their visit, offering assistance to meet their needs promptly.
- Follow designated opening and closing procedures for the restaurant each shift.
- Assist other departments as required based on business volumes and staffing levels.
- Complete additional tasks and projects delegated by your manager to support operational needs.
Requirements
Must be 16 years or older to be eligible for employment.
Prior guest service experience is preferred for this role.
Ability to communicate and follow oral or written directions in English is required for all duties.
Ability to ski or ride at an intermediate level is required for employees working in ski in/ski out restaurants during winter.
Must be able to work full-time during the designated seasonal period as outlined by the company.

Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance when required in the work environment.
