About the role
OpenClassrooms is a French hyper-growth company eligible to the French Tech Visa program. The Apprenti Juriste
Direction Juridique & Conformité is a 12-month apprenticeship contract designed to integrate you into a dynamic legal team. You will provide rigorous legal analysis and draft high-quality notes in both French and English. You will own the creation of legal documents such as cancellation letters, confidentiality agreements, and other official acts with precision and care. You will support the negotiation, drafting, and monitoring of all types of contracts and legal acts related to corporate governance. You will manage formalities and administrative tasks linked to these activities in an efficient and organized manner. You will assist on matters concerning education law and help ensure compliance with relevant legal frameworks. You will actively participate in the deployment and monitoring of the RGPD compliance program. You will conduct legal research, monitor legislation, and analyze case law to provide up-to-date guidance. You will prepare newsletters, reports, and PowerPoint presentations as required to communicate findings and initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and maintain direct communication with external clients, ensuring all deliverables meet strict standards of accuracy, clarity, and professionalism.
What you'll do
- Conduct detailed legal analyses and compose comprehensive legal notes in French and English.
- Draft essential legal documents including termination letters, non-disclosure agreements, and official acts.
- Assist in drafting, negotiating, and monitoring all categories of contracts and legal instruments concerning corporate governance.
- Handle legal and administrative formalities arising from your assigned activities.
- Provide specialized assistance on education law matters and regulatory issues.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of the RGPD compliance program.
- Perform continuous legal monitoring of legislation, proposed laws, and relevant case law.
- Prepare internal newsletters, detailed reports, and presentation materials as needed.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and maintain direct communication with external clients.
- Ensure all deliverables meet strict standards of accuracy, clarity, and professionalism.
Requirements
- Hold a higher education degree in law, specifically a third cycle or Master 2, with a specialization in IT, New Technologies, and Intellectual Property.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the provisions of the French Law on "Informatique et Libertés" and the European General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD).
- Possess a fluent or bilingual level of English to perform duties effectively.
- Have prior experience in a law firm and/or within the legal department of a company, which is considered an advantage.
- Master standard office software tools including G Suite, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Exhibit rigor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to take initiative in complex situations.
- Show strong writing skills, analytical capabilities, and the capacity to synthesize information clearly.
- Be available, responsive, supportive, and maintain a positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and collaborate.
- Have an understanding of the online education sector would be an added asset.

- The position is offered as an apprenticeship contract with a duration of 12 months.
