Eversum is seeking a dedicated and experienced Vodja nabave in skladišča (Head of Procurement and Warehouse) to join our dynamic team in Limbuš. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the procurement processes and warehouse operations, ensuring that we maintain optimal inventory levels and efficient supply chain management. What you'll do

• Lead and manage the procurement department, ensuring that all purchasing activities align with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies that optimize costs, improve quality, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination, to ensure efficient workflow and minimal disruptions.
• Collaborate with various departments, including production, sales, and finance, to forecast inventory needs and align procurement activities accordingly.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure the best possible pricing and service levels.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance, conducting regular assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all procurement and warehouse activities.
• Lead and mentor a team of procurement and warehouse staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, inventory levels, and warehouse performance to senior management.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems to minimize waste and ensure product availability.
• Manage the procurement budget, tracking expenditures and identifying areas for cost reduction.
• Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods to and from the warehouse.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing or retail environment.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics operations.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies that drive cost savings and efficiency.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems.
• Fluent in Slovene and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP systems and advanced inventory management tools.
• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CIPS) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with sustainability practices in procurement and warehouse operations.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement software.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance metrics.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to procurement and warehousing.
