About the role
Euna is seeking a dedicated Project Manager for its ECP (Enterprise Change Program) focused on grants. This position is in ensuring that grant-related projects are executed efficiently and effectively, aligning with the strategic objectives of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a keen understanding of project management methodologies, enabling them to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring compliance with grant requirements. This role is based in Oakville, Ontario, and offers a full-time engagement.

What you'll do
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of grant-related projects, ensuring they meet specified timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports, to keep stakeholders informed.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Facilitate regular project meetings with team members and stakeholders to discuss progress, challenges, and next steps.
- Ensure compliance with all grant regulations and requirements, conducting regular audits and assessments to maintain standards.
- Provide training and support to team members on project management best practices and grant compliance.
- Engage with external partners and stakeholders to foster relationships that enhance project success and collaboration.
- Analyze project data and metrics to assess performance and inform future project planning and decision-making.
- Prepare and present project updates to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in the development of grant proposals and funding applications, ensuring alignment with project objectives and organizational priorities.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in project management and grant administration to continuously improve processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the nonprofit or public sector.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on grant management.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of grant regulations and compliance requirements, with experience in conducting audits and assessments.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.

- Experience working with government grants and funding agencies.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management related to grant projects.
- Previous experience in a leadership role, mentoring junior staff or team members.
- Understanding of nonprofit organizational structures and operations.
