Director, Euclid Blue
Job description
Director, Euclid Blue at Euclid Power.
About the role
At Euclid, we are looking for a Director to lead our Blue service line, our highest-complexity, most relationship-intensive client engagements. In this role, you will own the success of Blue clients by acting as their trusted operational partner embedded within their portfolio. You will manage and develop the Program Executive team while building the operational infrastructure that makes the Blue service line repeatable and scalable. This position requires you to serve as the senior relationship holder and strategic partner on our most deeply embedded accounts, ensuring alignment across engagement stages. You will not be responsible for discrete deliverables but for owning outcomes across multiple workstreams. Your focus will be on holding the whole system together and making everyone around you more effective. You will thrive in an environment where meaningful work, real results, and bold thinking are expected every day.
Key facts
What you'll do
Serve as the senior client partner on major Blue accounts, being the person clients call for strategic portfolio decisions and major next steps.
Act as a genuine strategic partner to Blue clients, fluent in portfolio development, CapEx and OpEx financial drivers, acquisition strategy, engineering and construction risk, and financing structures.
Work closely with Sales and account managers on Blue pipeline, providing deal-level credibility and executive presence to win sophisticated clients.
Support the development of proposals for complex Blue scopes, ensuring clarity and alignment with client expectations.
Coach Program Executives through difficult client situations in real time, helping them navigate challenging conversations and decisions.
Serve as the Head Coach for engagement strategy, enabling the Program Executive team to drive strategic decisions with the client while stepping in to 'call plays' when necessary.
Directly manage and develop Euclid's Program Executives, hiring, onboarding, and guiding their growth as Blue scales.
Drive performance management for the Program Executive team with structured input from clients and cross-vertical stakeholders.
Build and own the career path and growth model for the Program Executive role, establishing clear progression and mastery.
Mentor the team in client management best practices, providing overhead coverage with clients while enabling Program Executives to own relationships day to day.
Define and enforce engagement kickoff standards, ensuring Blue engagements are stood up consistently across multiple verticals.
Establish cross-vertical handoff protocols so projects move between stages without losing context or momentum.
Set client reporting standards that reflect Blue's proactive, ownership-oriented communication posture and build trust over time.
Develop knowledge capture standards that make engagements transferable and institutional, supporting repeatability and learning.
Co-develop Blue overlay frameworks with vertical Program Managers, creating the operational infrastructure that enhances vertical SOPs with stage continuity and depth of ownership.

Lead the staffing agreement process at engagement kickoff, clarifying roles, responsibilities, and expectations from the start.
Review escalations for within-vertical Blue engagements approaching the Program Executive threshold, intervening when necessary to maintain momentum.
Resolve resourcing conflicts when Blue needs compete with vertical workloads, balancing priorities to protect client outcomes.
Evolve and strengthen cross-functional staffing strategies to ensure Blue engagements leverage the most appropriate tools and talent from across Services.
Requirements
You must have deep fluency in utility-scale solar and BESS, with experience in DG and C&I in addition, at the deal level rather than only at the delivery level.

Your client presence must extend beyond delivery, with clients wanting to call you for strategic perspective rather than only when something goes wrong.

You must have run or been close to complex, multi-workstream programs that involve coordination across teams and stages.
You must be comfortable operating in ambiguity and making progress without a perfect plan, while still maintaining high standards.
You must be able to build and own operational infrastructure, creating frameworks that make complex services repeatable.
You must be comfortable mentoring and developing senior professionals, helping them grow into client leadership roles.
You must be able to hold multiple stakeholders accountable while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
