Senior Growth Manager, Re-engagement
Job description
About the role
You own the end-to-end re-engagement strategy for Ethos Annuities within the post-lead, post-contact user journey, designing multi-channel campaigns that guide high-consideration prospects toward conversion. This role focuses on protecting agent bandwidth while maximizing long-term customer lifetime value for a product where clients commit substantial sums. You will act as the primary re-engagement strategist in a shared OKR partnership with the Lead Product Manager for Annuities. The position demands a data-obsessed operator who can translate complex customer behavior into scalable, automated interventions. You will build systems that allow prospects to re-enter the funnel and move across the finish line without requiring a linear increase in agent time. Over time, the scope is expected to expand to additional new product lines beyond Annuities. Success is defined by your ability to move metrics that matter at each stage of a lengthy and complex sales cycle.
Key facts
What you'll do
Design and execute a comprehensive Annuities re-engagement roadmap using multi-channel campaigns tailored to high-consideration buyer behavior.
Relieve agent capacity by constructing automated interventions such as email content, SMS sequences, and landing pages that advance prospects without human dependency.
Develop three modes of re-
engagement: triggered event-driven messaging, agent-personalized follow-up tooling, and self-serve client interfaces like calculators and dashboards.
Build and optimize complex lifecycle automation workflows across our CRM and marketing automation platforms in close collaboration with offshore operations.
Run high-velocity A/B and multivariate experiments on subject lines, send times, channel mix, offer structures, and landing-page layouts, then scale statistically significant winners.
Partner with Data to construct dynamic user segments that ensure precise message timing aligned with demonstrated intent signals.
Own the iterative improvement of re-engagement assets, using qualitative and quantitative insights to refine messaging, creative, and user journeys.
Maintain strict brand and compliance standards across all automated communications for a regulated financial product.
Monitor funnel performance end-to-end, identifying drop-off points and designing interventions that reduce friction in the consideration process.
Act as the operational link between product, compliance, and growth teams to align re-engagement initiatives with broader business objectives.
Leverage no-code and low-code tools to rapidly prototype re-engagement experiences and reduce dependency on engineering resources.
Establish reporting frameworks that track incremental impact on lead re-engagement, conversion, and long-term retention metrics.
Champion a test-and-learn culture by documenting learnings, sharing insights, and updating playbooks based on experiment outcomes.
Ensure all re-engagement strategies respect the high-stakes nature of annuity purchases and the emotional weight of client decision-making.
Continuously benchmark our re-engagement performance against market standards for life insurance and annuity products.
Requirements
Must possess 6 or more years of professional experience in lifecycle marketing, re-engagement, or growth product management within B2C Tech, FinTech, Insurtech, or marketplace environments.
Demonstrated history working with higher-consideration, higher-AOV products where sales cycles involve multiple stakeholders and interactions.
Expertise across multiple messaging channels including email, SMS, voice and conversational AI, push notifications, in-app, and on-page experiences.
Strong technical proficiency with enterprise marketing automation platforms such as Braze, Iterable, Customer.io, or HubSpot, capable of building complex workflows independently.
Comfortable using SQL and analytical tools to measure lift, statistical significance, and cohort retention in experimentation.
Proven ability to work with CRM data models, user segmentation, and the orchestration of cross-channel journeys.
Understanding of compliance and regulatory constraints specific to life insurance and annuities within the United States.
Self-starter mentality with the ability to make decisions and execute campaigns without constant managerial oversight.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with agents, product managers, and offshore operations teams.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; advanced education in marketing, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Nice to have
Prior experience in the life insurance or annuity sector and familiarity with agent-facing workflows.
