Job Summary

This position represents a critical role within a dynamic, defense-focused technology environment. The Senior Procurement Agent (Contract) is responsible for owning the complete acquisition cycle for essential hardware components. Success in this role ensures the uninterrupted development and manufacturing of mission-critical systems. The individual will serve as the primary liaison between engineering requirements and supply chain execution.

The scope covers the procurement of intricate hardware elements, including Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical (EEE) parts. also, the role manages the acquisition of complex Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs). The position requires balancing technical specifications with commercial constraints across various project phases. These phases range from initial research and prototyping to full-scale production deployment.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Senior Procurement Agent leads strategic sourcing initiatives for direct materials essential to defense programs. This involves issuing Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and Requests for Quotation (RFQ). The role requires analyzing multiple offers to select the best commercial and technical fit.

You will direct material procurement activities for several concurrent defense programs and projects. This includes managing the prioritization of orders based on urgent project needs. The position demands close oversight of the supplier performance to meet strict delivery deadlines.

A core function is the delegation and execution of purchase orders for production components. This activity relies on a detailed understanding of a Bill of Materials (BOM). The procurement strategy must align with the overall program objectives and financial parameters.

Verification routines are essential to maintain the integrity of the supply chain. You will establish processes to validate component authenticity and traceability. This is particularly important for electronic kits and specialized hardware.

Requirements
