What you'll do
- Design and implement system architectures that support Eon Health's healthcare applications, ensuring they meet performance and scalability requirements.
- Collaborate with software developers and product managers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system design.
- Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain optimal operation.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure clear communication and knowledge sharing among team members.
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure that all components work together seamlessly and meet quality standards.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive healthcare data, adhering to industry regulations and best practices.
- Participate in troubleshooting and debugging efforts, providing technical support to resolve system-related issues efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements and innovations to enhance system performance and functionality.
- Collaborate with IT support teams to ensure integration of systems with existing infrastructure and services.
- Assist in the training of staff on new systems and technologies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Contribute to project planning and management, ensuring timely delivery of system enhancements and upgrades.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in systems engineering or a similar role, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Proficiency in system design and architecture, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing complex systems.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, database management, and cloud computing technologies.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and system management tasks.
- Familiarity with security protocols and compliance standards relevant to healthcare data protection (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
Nice to have
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of healthcare information systems and electronic health records (EHR) platforms.
