Key facts

What you'll do

• Design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and specifications.
• Execute manual and automated testing processes to identify software defects and ensure functionality aligns with user expectations.
• Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand project requirements and provide feedback on potential quality issues.
• various testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing, to ensure software quality.
• Document and track defects using issue tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and potential issues that may not be covered by automated tests.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies within the organization.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior QA team members to foster a culture of quality across the team.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to ensure quality is prioritized throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related role.
• Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks for automated testing.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in the healthcare technology sector or familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript for test automation.
• Experience with mobile application testing on iOS and Android platforms.
