About the role
In this pivotal position, you will serve as a key partner to the CEO and the founding team at Enterpret, acting as a trusted advisor and representative in various high-stakes situations. Your role will involve translating the CEO's vision into actionable workstreams, ensuring that priorities are managed effectively, and providing support during critical meetings and decisions. You will also oversee finance-related operations and help streamline the company's operational processes.

What you'll do
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and founding team, acting as a reliable extension of their leadership by representing them in meetings and making decisions on their behalf.
- Manage the CEO's focus by determining which issues require their attention and addressing less critical matters independently, while preparing them for board meetings and investor discussions.
- Take charge of finance-related operational tasks, including vendor management, budget oversight, and prioritizing spending to assist the CEO in making informed decisions.
- Facilitate the company's operational cadence by organizing leadership meetings, weekly business reviews, and planning sessions, ensuring agendas are set and decisions are tracked effectively.
- Handle complex operational projects autonomously, focusing on areas such as personnel management, processes, financials, and vendor relationships.
- Develop analyses and narratives that drive decision-making, including drafting strategy documents, board materials, and company-wide communications based on both internal and external data.
- Utilize modern AI tools to enhance productivity and efficiency in research, drafting, modeling, and automation, while promoting AI-driven practices within the leadership team.
- Engage in initial sales calls to gain a deep understanding of the ideal customer profile, their challenges, and how Enterpret can address their needs, ultimately contributing to revenue growth.
- Act as a temporary lead on high-priority cross-functional initiatives, working collaboratively with teams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to bridge gaps between strategy and execution.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-responsibility role, such as in startup operations, management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, or strategy/business operations, where you have managed complex, high-stakes projects from start to finish.
- Experience in early-stage startups is highly preferred; having been a founder is a significant advantage.
- Proven ability to define and solve ambiguous problems, resulting in systems or outcomes that the team relies on.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with data, including proficiency in spreadsheets and model building, alongside an AI-native approach to work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of drafting concise memos and representing the CEO effectively in discussions.
- A commercial mindset, enthusiastic about engaging with customers, taking sales calls, and learning the product thoroughly to build market conviction.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across various functions and earn trust without formal authority.
- Passion for fostering a positive culture through effective communication, rituals, and operational cadence.
- High level of ownership, sound judgment regarding sensitive information, and a genuine enthusiasm for the dynamic nature of startup environments.
