What you'll do
- Oversee the early phases of the sales cycle for our international markets by pinpointing key accounts and starting discussions with leaders in product and customer experience who are facing challenges we can help solve.
- Craft personalized outreach communications via email, LinkedIn, and phone calls that resonate with potential clients by addressing their specific pain points rather than relying on generic messaging.
- Conduct thorough discovery calls to gauge the needs of prospective clients, evaluate their compatibility with our offerings, and equip Account Executives with vital context for effective follow-ups.
- Work collaboratively with various teams, including Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, and Product, to identify new market opportunities, refine our messaging, and share insights gained from your interactions.
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the customer intelligence sector, including our notable clients such as Canva and Notion, as well as the competitive landscape to facilitate impactful discussions.
- Continuously improve your outreach skills by experimenting with new strategies and sharing successful techniques with your team to enhance overall performance.
- Track and report on key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of outreach efforts and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in regular training sessions and workshops to stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sales development.
Requirements
- Between 1 to 4 years of experience in sales development, business development, or outbound sales, ideally within a B2B SaaS context.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing sales targets and pipeline goals, with quantifiable achievements to validate your performance.
- Experience engaging with international markets, showcasing strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively connect with product and customer experience leaders.
- Excellent research abilities and a genuine interest in understanding prospective accounts prior to outreach, as evidenced by your tailored communication efforts.
- Capacity to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt to evolving situations, with experience in settings where processes are still being defined.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across Sales and Marketing teams, with a willingness to share knowledge and insights for collective growth.
- Familiarity with modern sales tools, including CRM systems, prospecting, sequencing, and enrichment tools, as well as a readiness to incorporate AI into your daily workflow.
