Senior SDET (IC4) - Senior Software Engineer in Test
Job description
About the role
The Senior SDET (IC4) at Emburse is a pivotal role where you will act as the primary quality strategist for a large-scale, highly distributed enterprise software solution. You will own the design and implementation of end-to-end automated testing frameworks that validate the reliability, performance, and scalability of our critical travel and expense platforms. This position requires a strong partnership with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to ensure that every feature is built with testability in mind and released with confidence. You will be responsible for establishing and evolving the test automation architecture, driving continuous integration practices, and mentoring team members to elevate the entire organization's quality standards. As the quality champion within your scrum team, you will define test plans, assess risks, and lead the execution of release and deployment activities. You will also analyze load and performance testing requirements, creating robust tests to validate system behavior under heavy traffic. Ultimately, you will influence technical direction by identifying, evaluating, and introducing new testing tools and methodologies that improve reliability, maintainability, and efficiency.
