What you'll do
- Architect and deploy a multi-faceted growth strategy targeting new customer acquisition and the expansion of current enterprise accounts.
- Construct and manage advanced reporting systems that track marketing performance and generate insights for rapid strategic adjustments.
- Define and monitor critical metrics including MQLs, pipeline generation, conversion rates, market penetration, product mix, budget allocation, and return on investment.
- Conceptualize and lead integrated marketing campaigns that leverage email, social media, industry conferences, and digital advertising platforms.
- Partner closely with the sales team to develop and distribute essential collateral and tools that enhance prospecting efforts and streamline the deal-closing process.
- Liaise with external partners such as public relations agencies and research institutions to amplify brand visibility and establish industry thought leadership.
- Collaborate with sales operations and engineering teams to build, integrate, and optimize the technology stack, with a focus on analytics and marketing automation.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence and data-driven decision-making.
- Analyze competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and threats, ensuring the growth strategy remains adaptive and resilient.
- Oversee the budget allocation for all growth initiatives, ensuring resources are directed toward the highest-impact activities.
- Implement rigorous testing protocols for all marketing initiatives to validate hypotheses and maximize return on ad spend.
- Serve as the primary growth advisor to executive leadership, translating complex data sets into actionable strategic plans.
- Develop thought leadership content that positions the company as an innovator within the biotechnology sector.
- Establish scalable processes that enable the marketing function to operate efficiently as the company enters new markets.
Requirements
- Possess six or more years of B2B software experience in a senior leadership capacity, with demonstrable results in growth roles.
- Provide evidence of success in demand generation, content marketing, and event marketing across complex sales cycles.
- Show a proven track record of scaling a hyper-growth startup from early stages through multiple growth phases.
- Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous challenges and shifting priorities.
- Commit to working in the office 4-5 days per week to ensure seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Exhibit strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting complex data sets to inform strategic marketing decisions.
- Bring experience managing and developing high-performing teams in a collaborative and feedback-driven culture.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; advanced degrees in relevant fields are a distinct advantage.
Skills & tools
- Expertise in analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar tools for measuring user behavior and campaign performance.
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, including but not limited to HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot, to manage end-to-end campaign workflows.
- Comprehensive understanding of CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, to manage pipeline integration and sales marketing alignment.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker to create dashboards that communicate performance to stakeholders.
- Experience with project management software such as Asana, Monday.com, or Jira to coordinate cross-team initiatives and timelines.
- Knowledge of A/B testing tools and methodologies to optimize landing pages, email sequences, and conversion funnels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- Leadership experience in aligning marketing objectives with sales targets to drive predictable revenue growth.
