About the role
You will own the end-to-end product strategy and execution for the Housing business workflows that define how properties operate and residents experience their homes. You will partner deeply with property teams to uncover operational pain points and translate them into automated, AI-native products that reduce manual work and improve outcomes. You will design and deliver workflows spanning leasing, maintenance, communications, and compliance, ensuring they integrate seamlessly into existing operations. You will work hand-in-hand with engineering, design, data, operations, and GTM teams to ship high-impact features rapidly and reliably. You will define product requirements, prioritize roadmaps, and maintain a clear line of sight from customer needs to shipped solutions. You will analyze product performance and user feedback to iterate continuously, improving adoption, efficiency, and real-world impact. You will build strong empathy for both residents and property teams, balancing operational efficiency with exceptional user experiences in a regulated industry. You will help shape the long-term product vision for Housing at EliseAI, ensuring our platform evolves to meet growing operational and resident needs.

What you'll do
Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for Housing workflows, aligning AI-native solutions with business and customer goals.
Partner with property teams and residents to deeply understand operational workflows, uncovering pain points and opportunities for automation.
Build and launch AI-powered features that streamline leasing, maintenance, payments, communications, and compliance while preserving trust and accuracy.
Translate complex operational requirements and regulatory constraints into intuitive, user-friendly product experiences for diverse stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with engineering, design, data, operations, and GTM teams to deliver high-impact features on a fast, iterative cadence.
Analyze product metrics, user behavior, and customer feedback to identify insights and drive continuous improvement in adoption and outcomes.
Prioritize and manage the product backlog to balance urgent operational needs with long-term strategic initiatives across the housing lifecycle.
Develop strong empathy for property teams and residents, ensuring products support both efficiency and exceptional resident experiences.
Work in a heavily regulated environment, ensuring product decisions account for compliance, data security, and risk management.
Shape the long-term Housing product strategy, identifying new opportunities to automate workflows and enhance the resident journey end to end.
Champion best practices in product management, from discovery and experimentation to documentation and cross-team alignment.
Act as the voice of the customer internally, synthesizing feedback and operational data into clear product requirements and success metrics.
Own key metrics for your products, using data to inform decisions, validate hypotheses, and demonstrate impact on operational efficiency and resident satisfaction.
Collaborate with leadership to set product direction, making informed tradeoffs to deliver maximum value in a fast-moving, growth-stage environment.
Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance culture by sharing learnings, providing constructive feedback, and supporting team growth.
Requirements
4+ years of Product Management experience, with a track record of building AI-native products or complex operational workflows.
Strong product sense and the ability to simplify complex operational processes into clear, intuitive experiences for users.
Solid analytical thinking and comfort using data to inform product decisions, measure outcomes, and prioritize tradeoffs.
High ownership mentality and accountability, with the ability to drive projects forward independently and remove blockers for the team.
Passion for building products that have meaningful real-world impact on housing operations and resident experiences.
Experience working in heavily regulated environments is a plus, particularly regarding compliance, data handling, and risk management.
Willingness to work in person at our office 4-5 days a week to foster collaboration, alignment, and efficient decision-making.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate technical concepts and operational workflows to diverse stakeholders.
Comfort operating in ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information while maintaining momentum.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, growth-stage startup environment.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, data, operations, and go-to-market.
Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ensuring products move from concept to launch.

Willingness to engage directly with customers and property teams to gather feedback and validate product assumptions in the field.

Experience with housing, leasing, or property management workflows and understanding of resident services.
Background in healthcare operations or prior experience building for regulated industries.

Practical notes
This role requires in-person work at our New York City office 4-5 days per week to ensure close collaboration, fast decision-making, and alignment across teams.
