About the role
You will spearhead the discovery and validation of new product opportunities within housing and healthcare, translating ambiguous market needs into clear product hypotheses and strategic roadmaps. This role owns the full lifecycle of new ventures, from initial market research and feasibility analysis through to execution, launch, and ongoing optimization of product-market fit. You will define and own key metrics for new products, establishing the measurement frameworks that prove impact and guide iterative improvements. You will lead the development of comprehensive go-to-market strategies, positioning, and pricing models tailored to distinct market segments. Collaboration will be central as you partner with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success to align vision and execution across the entire product stack. You will synthesize customer feedback loops and competitive intelligence to continuously refine product direction and ensure sustained relevance in fast-moving markets. Ultimately, you will build and scale initiatives that drive significant top-line growth, reduce operational friction, and expand EliseAI's footprint in essential service industries.

What you'll do
Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify white spaces and emerging opportunities for new products in housing and healthcare verticals.
Develop end-to-end product strategies that define target users, value propositions, and success metrics before any code is written.
Design and own comprehensive go-to-market plans, including segmentation, positioning, messaging, pricing models, and launch sequencing.
Translate ambiguous business problems into clear product requirements and user stories that guide engineering and design teams.
Build and manage detailed project plans with timelines, dependencies, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies for new initiatives.
Partner with data teams to establish experiment frameworks, define key performance indicators, and run tests to validate product hypotheses.
Lead cross-functional workshops and working sessions to align stakeholders on priorities, scope, and execution trade-offs.
Create business cases and ROI analyses to secure executive buy-in and resource allocation for new ventures.
Represent product initiatives to senior leadership, investors, and external partners, communicating progress and outcomes clearly.
Mentor junior product and operations team members, elevating the overall capability of the product function over time.
Establish feedback mechanisms with customers and internal users to ensure products evolve based on real-world usage and changing needs.
Drive the documentation of playbooks and standard operating procedures to ensure repeatability and scalability of new product launches.
Own post-launch reviews, analyzing performance against goals and identifying opportunities for optimization and expansion.
Champion a culture of experimentation, learning, and data-driven decision-making across all product and operations activities.
Requirements
Demonstrate 7-8 years of cumulative experience in product strategy, product management, management consulting, corporate strategy, or related high-growth technology roles.
Show a proven track record of successfully launching new products or entering new markets, with clear evidence of strategic vision and rigorous execution.
Apply exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to complex, ambiguous situations, using a data-driven mindset to inform decisions.
Exhibit strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing abilities, persuading diverse stakeholders and aligning them toward shared objectives.
Operate with high autonomy and ownership, thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments while driving clarity and focus amid uncertainty.

Commit to working in person at our New York City office 4-5 days per week to enable close collaboration and cultural cohesion.

Experience in the housing or healthcare sectors, with domain knowledge of renter, property, or patient workflows.
Background in AI-driven products or conversational interfaces, understanding how these technologies can enhance service delivery.
Prior experience working at a venture-stage startup that has scaled rapidly, navigating growth with limited structure.
Demonstrated ability to build and lead cross-functional teams, developing talent and fostering high-performance cultures.
Practical notes
This is a full-time role based in New York City.
The successful candidate is expected to work from our office 4-5 days per week.
