About the role
You will define and own the end-to-end strategy for how Elastic applies AI across the Global Go-to-Market ecosystem. You will lead the GTM Technology organization responsible for accelerating and applying AI across Elastic's commercial motion. You will partner deeply with RevOps and GTM leaders to identify the highest-leverage problems and architect AI-driven solutions. You will own the roadmap, execution, and outcomes for four interconnected teams: Engineering, Data Science, Customer Data Strategy, and Application Administration. You will set the vision for embedding AI into the seller and GTM leader experience while ensuring each team delivers against its own roadmap and success measures. You will operate as an executive-level partner translating GTM strategy into a coherent technology agenda.

What you'll do
- Set the Field Technology and AI vision for Elastic, defining how AI is applied across the GTM ecosystem to accelerate revenue outcomes.
- Build, mentor, and lead a multi-disciplinary organization across Engineering, Data Science, Customer Data Strategy, and Application Administration, creating clear success measures and leadership development pathways.
- Partner with senior GTM, Sales, Marketing, legal, IT, and Finance leaders to identify the highest-leverage GTM problems AI can solve and shepherd those solutions from concept to scaled adoption.
- Establish and own KPIs for AI-driven outcomes, system performance, data quality, and team delivery, then regularly report progress, trade-offs, and business impact to executive stakeholders.
- Serve as the senior technology voice within RevOps, translating GTM strategy into a technology agenda and translating technology capability into GTM opportunity and value.
- Manage the full lifecycle of applied AI use cases including account scoring, next-best-action, seller copilots, agentic workflows, and conversational analytics from design through prototype to scaled production adoption.
- Make principled build versus buy versus partner decisions across the GTM technology portfolio, balancing innovation speed with platform stability, cost, and long-term scalability.
- Govern the GTM technology portfolio by defining roadmaps, success metrics, and operating cadences for each functional team, ensuring their outputs combine into a single, coherent portfolio.
- Drive alignment and shared outcomes with peer leaders across Revenue Strategy, Marketing, Finance, and IT to secure cross-functional investment and resolve enterprise-level trade-offs.
- Synthesize customer insights, data signals, and market feedback into actionable product and process changes that elevate the GTM experience and drive measurable revenue impact.
Requirements
- You are a senior leader with experience owning and scaling enterprise technology organizations, managing multi-disciplinary teams, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
- You have deep expertise in AI technologies and their application within enterprise software, with a track record of designing and deploying AI solutions that drive revenue or operational impact.
- You possess extensive experience in data strategy, data governance, and data quality, ensuring underlying data is certified, trusted, and reliable for all GTM teams.
- You have a strong background in building and scaling SaaS platforms and integrating best-of-breed tools into coherent technology portfolios.
- You have demonstrated success partnering at the executive level with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and IT to align technology strategy with business objectives.
- You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, making decisions with incomplete information while maintaining accountability for results.
- You have excellent communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts into clear narratives for both technical and non-technical executive audiences.
- You are a builder at heart, with a proven ability to create clarity, set direction, and assemble roadmaps that others can execute against.
Nice to have
- Preferred experience in Revenue Operations, RevOps technology leadership, or similar roles owning GTM technology strategy and execution.
- Prior experience deploying AI solutions at scale within enterprise sales, marketing, or customer success environments.
- Deep familiarity with Elastic products, search technology, and the broader search and observability ecosystem.
- Experience building and operating data platforms, data meshes, or synthetic data generation capabilities for GTM applications.
- Track record of mentoring and developing leaders within technology organizations, especially across distributed or matrixed teams.
