What you'll do

• Develop and implement quality management systems that align with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to establish quality metrics and monitor performance against these benchmarks.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations for non-conformities and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Train and mentor staff on quality assurance practices and procedures, fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on quality performance to senior management, highlighting trends and areas requiring attention.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure that incoming materials meet quality specifications and standards.
• Manage customer complaints related to quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality management practices to continuously enhance the quality program.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams to drive quality improvement initiatives and promote best practices across the organization.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality processes, audits, and compliance activities for internal and external review.
• Support the development of quality-related training programs to enhance employee understanding and engagement in quality initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Proven track record of implementing quality management systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards and other relevant quality certifications.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Experience in conducting audits and managing compliance with quality standards.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools, including statistical analysis software.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Nice to have

• Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Manager).
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
• Familiarity with construction materials and processes.
• Previous experience in a regional or multi-site quality management role.
