About the role
As a , you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and guiding a dedicated team within our Ruda Śląska facility. What you'll do
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
- Oversee the execution of engineering and construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and operations, to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project updates, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to share ideas and best practices.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, helping them to develop their skills and advance their careers.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as a liaison between clients and the project team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals.
- Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs without compromising quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction or engineering sector.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project or Primavera.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality assurance processes in the construction industry.
Nice to have
- Experience with international projects or working in a multicultural environment.
- Familiarity with Lean construction principles and practices.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
- Proficiency in additional languages, particularly German or English, is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a similar leadership role within a reputable company.
