As an , you will play a crucial role in optimizing our procurement processes for non-production materials and services. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure that our operational needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively. What you'll do
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect materials and services, ensuring alignment with company objectives and budgetary constraints.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their offerings, and assess their capabilities to meet our needs.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and conditions that benefit the organization.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that procurement activities align with operational goals.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain ongoing relationships to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
- Analyze purchasing data and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to management, highlighting key metrics, savings achieved, and areas for further development.
- Manage the procurement lifecycle from requisition to payment, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while minimizing disruptions to operations.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support projects that require procurement input, ensuring alignment with overall business strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
- Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on procurement processes and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving cost savings and favorable contract terms.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Fluency in Polish and English; additional languages are a plus.
Nice to have
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly in a procurement context.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and ethical sourcing.
- Previous experience in a multinational company or working with international suppliers.
