What you'll do

• Design and implement robust software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and specifications for new features and enhancements.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner to maintain optimal system performance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software designs, processes, and user manuals to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.
• Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow their technical skills and advance their careers.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential application to improve existing systems and processes.
• Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test plans, ensuring software quality through rigorous testing and validation.
• Assist in the deployment of applications and updates, monitoring system performance post-deployment to ensure stability and reliability.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on software solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript, and experience with relevant frameworks.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and DevOps practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and experience with data modeling and optimization.
