Senior Account Executive UKI
Job description
About the role
Role Description
You will serve as an Account Executive on the Growth team within Dropbox. In this capacity, you will help define how the company moves to market while expanding newer offerings such as Dash. The position requires active participation in shaping market entry strategies and long-term growth initiatives.
Your work will extend beyond standard account management. You will be expected to build scalable sales approaches across new use cases and buying centers. This includes both existing customer groups and entirely new customer segments. You will navigate uncertainty to determine what solutions customers value and how those solutions generate measurable results.
You will function at the junction of daily execution and strategic problem-solving. Closing business will be one part of the role while also influencing sales methodology, messaging, and overall approach. This position provides direct input into product direction and growth initiatives, with significant visibility among senior leadership.
Responsibilities
You will manage the complete sales lifecycle, covering initial pipeline creation through renewal management. This responsibility spans your assigned territory and requires consistent attention to both growth and retention activities.
You will develop new sales motion from the ground up. This includes identifying new teams, departments, and executive contacts that could benefit from Dropbox solutions. Your efforts will focus on uncovering latent demand and building relationships across multiple stakeholder levels.
You will expand current sales motions to reveal additional use cases. This involves questioning existing assumptions about how Dropbox is used and exploring adjacent opportunities. You will translate those insights into actionable sales strategies.
You will generate steady pipeline through varied channels. These activities include direct outreach, event participation, and coordinated efforts with partners. Each initiative will be managed to ensure alignment with broader revenue objectives.
You will maintain accurate forecasting and disciplined pipeline oversight. This ensures that performance consistently meets or exceeds established revenue targets. You will rely on data to guide decisions and prioritize efforts.
You will lead in-depth discovery with prospective customers. This process is intended to uncover operational challenges, strategic priorities, and desired business outcomes. The insights gained will directly inform your sales strategy.
You will employ structured qualification and value-selling methodologies. Frameworks such as MEDDICC and SPICED will be used to guide complex opportunities. These tools help clarify fit, urgency, and value within the buying process.
You will clearly communicate business impact. Messaging will emphasize outcomes and customer value rather than product features alone. This approach positions Dropbox as a strategic partner rather than a vendor.
You will推动 deal momentum through stakeholder alignment. This includes establishing clear timelines, securing executive sponsorship, and defining concrete next steps. Your role will ensure that opportunities move efficiently through the sales funnel.
You will contribute to ongoing refinement of go-to-market strategy. This includes input on ideal customer profiles, core messaging, and priority use cases. Your field insights will help shape long-term planning.
