About the role
Drata is seeking a Senior Salesforce Systems Administrator to enhance and optimize its go-to-market (GTM) systems. This pivotal position involves designing, maintaining, and overseeing the Salesforce environment to ensure it remains stable, user-friendly, scalable, and maintains data integrity. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments to implement effective solutions that facilitate Drata's growth trajectory.

What you'll do
- Oversee the management of Drata's Salesforce instance and associated systems, ensuring daily configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and user support are effectively handled.
- Play a key role in GTM Systems team projects, from the initial design phase through testing and deployment stages.
- Enhance the quote-to-cash process by optimizing CPQ, pricing, quoting, and opportunity workflows.
- Manage both pre-production and production environments, deploying changes while ensuring the integrity of the system.
- Uphold data governance standards across fields, object architecture, page layouts, profiles, permission sets, validation rules, and flows.
- Troubleshoot system issues, conduct root cause analyses, and implement long-term solutions in collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and user training materials, aiding in the onboarding process for new users.
- Facilitate integrations and data transfers between Salesforce and other platforms to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and sustain reports and dashboards that assist in pipeline management, forecasting, customer lifecycle tracking, and revenue operations.
- Conduct regular audits and health checks of the system to proactively manage data quality.
- Work closely with IT, security, and compliance teams to ensure access, auditability, and system availability are maintained.
- Engage in release planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-deployment validation to ensure successful implementation.
- Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and recommend new features that could benefit the organization.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 to 9 years of experience in enterprise application architecture, particularly with Salesforce and integrated finance, billing, and revenue operations tools.
- Proven experience in administering and supporting revenue technology stack tools such as Clari, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo, with a solid understanding of their impact on sales execution.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, along with some familiarity with Experience Cloud, and functional knowledge of Salesforce CPQ and quote-to-cash processes.
- Basic knowledge of Salesforce development concepts (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, platform limits) to troubleshoot and safely extend solutions.
- Experience in integrating Salesforce with third-party tools using native connectors, managed packages, or integration platforms, and assisting with complex integration scenarios.
- Demonstrated capability to contribute to Salesforce initiatives, including solution design, configuration, testing, release management, and post-deployment support in cross-functional environments.
- Proficient in developing and enhancing scalable Salesforce solutions for quote-to-cash, billing, and operational automation while adhering to architectural standards.
- Familiarity with SaaS business models, sales KPIs, and operational metrics to effectively support Go-To-Market teams and inform configuration decisions.
- A desire to mentor and share knowledge with other administrators and developers, while also advancing personal technical and leadership skills.
- A strong sense of ownership and dedication to quality, ensuring the delivery of well-structured, maintainable solutions with appropriate documentation and testing.
