What you'll do

• Collaborate with product managers to gather and define product specifications, ensuring that features are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
• Design and implement scalable solutions that improve application functionality, enhance data efficiency, and boost overall system performance.
• Architect data endpoints using a semantic layer to effectively transform raw source data into intuitive and optimized structures suitable for user interface consumption.
• Develop and maintain production systems, ensuring they prioritize reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Work across the technology stack to create seamless integrations between backend services and user interfaces.
• Optimize existing code and systems to enhance application performance and reduce latency issues.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring adherence to best practices in software development.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of building, owning, and maintaining production systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript, with experience in developing and delivering analysis or dashboarding products.
• Proficiency in SQL for effective data querying, analysis, and interaction with databases.
• Familiarity with React, either through professional experience or academic projects.
• Experience with containerization, orchestration, and Kubernetes for scalable application deployments.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to learning new technologies and adapting to evolving project requirements.

• The estimated salary range for this role is between $107,000 and $193,000, with additional eligibility for bonuses, commissions (if applicable), equity, and benefits.
