About the role
In this position, you will spearhead the comprehensive onboarding strategy for new consumers at DoorDash, ensuring a transition from initial registration to regular usage. Your primary focus will be on enhancing conversion rates through tailored, multi-channel initiatives and leveraging data-driven insights to inform your strategies.

What you'll do
- Design and implement the entire onboarding lifecycle, outlining key milestones, channel sequencing, and metrics for success.
- Initiate a structured testing and learning agenda aimed at enhancing conversion rates from sign-up to habitual usage.
- Broaden outreach by discovering and applying new touchpoints across various channels, including push notifications, SMS, and in-app interactions.
- Create customized onboarding experiences by utilizing behavioral data and customer characteristics to inform your strategies.
- Manage a marketing budget effectively, ensuring that funds are directed towards initiatives that yield significant impact.
- Develop a measurement framework to track performance indicators and communicate results to relevant stakeholders.
- Work closely with teams in Product, Analytics, and Operations to ensure alignment on strategic goals and data needs.

- Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging content that resonates with new users during their onboarding journey.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices in consumer lifecycle marketing to keep DoorDash at the forefront of innovation.
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster collaboration and share insights across teams.
- Report regularly on the effectiveness of onboarding strategies and suggest improvements based on data analysis.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in customer relationship management (CRM), lifecycle marketing, or retention marketing.
- Proficient in using CRM platforms such as Braze, Iterable, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud to execute campaigns.
- Demonstrated experience in managing marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including SMS, email, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
- Proven track record in budget management, with the ability to make informed investment decisions that drive business outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills to assess funnel performance and convert insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product, Analytics, and Operations.
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for your projects.
