About the role
In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for enhancing advertising collaborations with consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies within DoorDash's grocery, convenience, and retail sectors. Your primary focus will be managing a diverse portfolio of mid-market CPG accounts, promoting the adoption of advertising and promotional products. This role involves close collaboration with account executives, marketing specialists, analytics teams, and product developers. You will report directly to a CPG Industry Manager as part of the Enterprise Sales and Business Development team.

What you'll do
- Lead comprehensive marketing discussions with a designated portfolio of CPG advertisers, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Create and maintain compelling pitch materials and sales collateral aimed at attracting new business opportunities.
- Design and implement marketing campaigns, analyze post-campaign performance metrics, and pinpoint potential upsell opportunities.
- Oversee pipeline forecasting for your assigned accounts, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
- Collaborate with various internal teams to synchronize resources and bolster partners' digital growth initiatives.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all advertising-related inquiries.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and enhance service offerings.
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement or additional support.
- Prepare and present performance reports to stakeholders, showcasing the impact of advertising initiatives on client business objectives.
- Assist in the development of training materials for new team members, sharing best practices and insights gained from your experiences.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align on goals, strategies, and resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in account management, project management, or cross-functional operations is essential.
- A solid background in the advertising sector or consumer packaged goods industry is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical abilities and a keen attention to detail are critical for success in this role.
- Proven capability to negotiate outcomes that benefit both the company and its partners.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and familiarity with data analytics tools are required.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is mandatory.
Nice to have
- Experience with digital marketing strategies and tools can be advantageous.
- Familiarity with CRM software and pipeline management systems is a plus.
- Previous exposure to working in a fast-paced startup environment may be beneficial.
- Understanding of e-commerce trends and consumer behavior in the CPG space is desirable.

Practical notes
- The national base salary range for this position, which includes locations such as Illinois and Colorado, is between $85,680 and $126,000 USD.
- Total on-target earnings, which combine base salary and commissions, range from $107,100 to $157,500 USD.
