What you'll do

- Establish and enforce coding standards, documentation practices, and knowledge-sharing rituals within the team
- Take ownership of incident response and post-mortem processes to improve system resilience and reliability
Requirements
- Proven experience managing engineering teams of at least five developers in a technology company setting
- Strong background in software engineering with the ability to contribute meaningfully to technical discussions
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in the healthcare or technology sector is highly valued for this role
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and modern software delivery practices is expected of candidates
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or a related technical field is required
- Fluency in French and English, as the Paris office operates in both languages on a daily basis

- Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure patterns on major providers

- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes is important
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture patterns in distributed systems
- Comfort with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code tools, and automated testing frameworks for quality assurance
- Ability to use data analytics and monitoring tools to track system health and performance metrics
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis for data storage
