This role focuses on technical leadership for Docker's most important customers. You will guide clients through their container and AI adoption, acting as a key technical advisor. Your work will bridge product development and customer engagement, ensuring Docker's offerings meet client needs.

What you'll do
- Lead technical initiatives for Docker's top-tier customers, accelerating their container and AI integration.
- Collaborate with customer teams and internal Docker groups to understand technical and business objectives.
- Develop and manage engagement plans that incorporate current and future Docker products to achieve client goals.
- Oversee rapid prototyping projects with Docker engineering and customer teams to validate new use cases.
- Create and deliver custom demonstrations and content tailored to specific customer scenarios.
- Provide high-impact enablement and best practices to audiences ranging from developers to C-level executives.
- Act as a thought leader for a specific area, both internally and externally, by creating and delivering content.
- Gather feedback from customer teams and Docker's pre/post-sales teams.
- Coordinate with other architects to prioritize field requests for product and engineering teams.
- Work directly with product and engineering to align features with high-impact customer use cases.
- Serve as an early adopter for new Docker product functionality.
- Contribute to internal and external technical enablement content and review materials.
- Assist the sales enablement team with technical training for new products and services.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solution Architect in complex enterprise settings.
- Strong communication, influence, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience managing customer relationships at both technical and business levels.
- Proven ability to present solutions and demonstrations to various audience sizes, in person and virtually.
- Experience collaborating with internal product, engineering, and technical support teams to improve documentation, enablement, and features.
- Background in developing application code and understanding daily developer challenges.
- Capability to solve technical problems and translate customer experiences into actionable feedback for engineering.
- Experience creating collateral to help customers adopt best practices.
- Solid understanding of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers, DevOps, and modern application architectures.
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally to meet with clients and partners.

- Experience with Docker, container ecosystems, or related technologies.
- Background in development, Agentic AI development, Software Development Lifecycle, or Software Supply Chain Security.

Compensation includes OTE and equity.
