About the role
You will own the full cycle of engaging homeowners and builders across the Nashville area by designing tailored door and door product solutions that align with their specific needs. You will daily promote a diverse line of products and services, ensuring each conversation highlights value and long term benefits. In this role you will deliver compelling sales presentations that integrate product samples and design software to clearly illustrate solutions. You will meet with both existing and prospective customers, carefully assess their requirements, and sell technical and mechanical goods and services with confidence. A core part of your ownership is building solid lasting relationships with general contractors and builders within an assigned territory. You will provide timely and accurate estimates and proposals that reflect project scope and customer expectations. Another key responsibility is to maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management System on a daily basis to ensure data accuracy and pipeline visibility. You will also handle other duties as assigned to support team goals and company initiatives.

- Analyze customer requirements to engineer door and door product configurations that satisfy technical and aesthetic criteria.
- Generate targeted demand through consistent outreach to homeowners, builders, and contractors in the designated Nashville territory.
- Customize door solution proposals that balance design preferences, budget parameters, and installation constraints.
- Demonstrate product features using physical samples and digital design software to clarify benefits and drive decision making.
- Conduct in person meetings with existing and prospective customers to uncover needs and present differentiated value.
- Translate complex mechanical and technical specifications into accessible language for homeowners and builders.
- Produce accurate and timely estimates that itemize costs, timelines, and product options for review.
- Update CRM records after every customer interaction to maintain an up to date sales pipeline and follow up plan.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate delivery schedules, sample availability, and proposal approvals.
- Support special projects such as trade shows, community events, or builder briefings as requested.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to refine positioning and messaging in the Nashville market.
- Document customer feedback and relay insights to product and marketing teams for continuous improvement.
- Maintain a professional appearance and preparedness for every appointment to reflect company standards.
- Perform any additional sales related tasks necessary to achieve team objectives and growth targets.
Requirements
- Two years of outside selling experience focused on homeowners and general contractors.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with familiarity with blueprints plans and specifications.
- Strong interpersonal skills that enable quick rapport building with new customers.
- Possession of a valid driver's license for travel within the Nashville area.
- Excellent organizational communication and relationship building abilities.
- Other duties as assigned to support team workflows and company goals.
- Ability to work within a structured sales process while maintaining flexibility for evolving opportunities.
