About the role
You will act as a consultative inside sales professional representing DH Pace and its affiliated brands to national accounts from designated locations. This role owns the full inside sales cycle, from initial outreach and relationship development to proposal creation and order processing. You will serve as a critical link between the customer and the broader sales organization, ensuring all client needs are captured and addressed accurately. The position requires proactive communication to uncover new opportunities and resolve any issues that may arise during the sales process. You will leverage data and technology to maintain precise records and drive continuous improvement in customer interactions. Success in this role is defined by your ability to build trust, deliver value, and achieve or exceed assigned sales targets.

What you'll do
- Initiate and manage consultative conversations with existing and potential national customers to identify strategic sales opportunities and deliver tailored solutions.
- Proactively cultivate client relationships to strengthen partnerships, identify needs for additional products or services, and ensure consistent satisfaction with DH Pace offerings.
- Maintain daily accuracy and integrity in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure all customer data is current and actionable.
- Execute timely follow-up activities to move opportunities through the sales pipeline and successfully close deals.
- Prepare, detail, and submit precise, competitive, and compliant final proposals that align with customer requirements and company standards.
- Consistently pursue and exceed established sales quotas, performance metrics, and internal objectives to support business growth.
- Complete all assigned projects on schedule and within the approved budget to ensure cost-effective execution.
- Provide dedicated support to sales projects and cross-functional initiatives as requested by management or leadership.
- Demonstrate continuous initiative by learning, adopting, and applying new sales strategies, tools, and technologies to improve performance.
- Share detailed product knowledge and provide assistance to team members across the office and region to drive collective success.
- Perform additional related duties and responsibilities as assigned by your direct manager to support team and company goals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate logistics, resolve customer inquiries, and uphold high service standards.
- Monitor market trends and customer feedback to provide insights that inform sales strategies and product positioning.
- Represent the company professionally in all communications, ensuring alignment with brand values and customer expectations.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience combination.
- Hold a minimum of two years of proven sales experience, with a focus on inside sales or customer-facing environments.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, CRM, and ERP/data management systems.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail and comfort working with numerical data and quantitative analysis.
- Apply excellent assessment, analytical, and problem-solving skills in complex situations.
- Manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently while performing in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Maintain a professional demeanor with outstanding customer service and proven relationship-building abilities.
- Display an outgoing personality with a natural capacity to connect with customers and support their objectives.
- Communicate effectively using excellent verbal and written skills, enabling collaboration with colleagues, supervisors, and other departments.
- Show a demonstrated strong work ethic, reliability, self-motivation, and goal orientation, supported by professional references.
- Apply mechanical aptitude as a plus to understand product features and benefits.
- Bring experience supporting field service operations as a preferred qualification.
