Senior Product Designer - Mobile Focus
Job description
Senior Product Designer - Mobile Focus at Devsavant.
About the role
You will own the end-to-end design process for complex, high-impact mobile initiatives, translating ambiguous problems into clear design direction and measurable outcomes from research through shipped experiences. You will set the mobile design strategy and partner with product and engineering leadership to shape the roadmap, ensuring decisions align with both user needs and business goals. You will mentor other designers on the team, elevating craft, process, and rigor through hands-on feedback and constructive collaboration. You will actively participate in high-level design critiques, modeling best practices and advocating for user-centered thinking across the broader design organization. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and fellow designers to validate assumptions, refine requirements, and ensure alignment between vision and implementation. You will embed with agile teams to deliver user experiences that are not only beautiful but also functional, performant, and feasible across constraints. You will create and iterate on wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, using them to communicate ideas, test concepts, and iterate quickly with stakeholders. You will design seamless mobile and web experiences, ensuring consistency across platforms while respecting platform-specific patterns and capabilities. You will engage directly with users, conducting interviews, usability sessions, and contextual inquiry to gather insights and validate design decisions throughout the lifecycle. You will contribute at a strategic level to the evolution of the design system, establishing standards and components that other designers can build upon with speed and confidence.
