Full Stack (Product) Engineer

About the role

At Delphi, you will own the end-to-end execution of product initiatives that define how creators build and share their digital minds while crafting seamless experiences for consumers who discover and interact with them. You will architect and ship the foundational systems that power our Mind Studio, interaction experiences, and our consumer platform across our entire Next.js, Python, and AWS stack. You will drive the evolution of our core technology, ensuring our systems are scalable, reliable, and performant under massive load. You will collaborate closely with founders and builders to translate ambitious vision into shipped features that delight users. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of your initiatives, from initial concept and technical design through implementation, testing, and ongoing optimization. You will bring deep empathy for users and effective communication skills to ensure delivered solutions match the intended idea. You will leverage experience with LLMs via API integration and possess a can-do attitude to adapt quickly in our fast-moving environment.

What you'll do

Own Product Initiatives by driving digital mind studio creator tools, text, voice, and video interaction experiences, and consumer discovery platforms from concept to launch. Architect Full Stack Systems by designing scalable Next.js, Python, and AWS solutions with durable data models and efficient database structures that support rapid growth and millions of interactions. Enable Cross-Domain Excellence by seamlessly navigating frontend React development, backend architecture, database optimization, and cloud infrastructure deployment. Implement Durable Data Models that ensure integrity, performance, and scalability as interaction volume grows exponentially. Optimize API Design to build crisp, predictable, and versioned interfaces that enable seamless communication between frontend and backend services. Manage Background Tasks and Queues by designing robust systems for asynchronous processing, ensuring resilience and reliability under peak demand. Integrate Third-Party AI Services by configuring and optimizing LLM API integrations to deliver high-quality, responsive, and cost-effective user experiences. Implement Caching Strategies to deploy intelligent caching mechanisms that reduce latency, improve response times, and optimize infrastructure costs. Ensure System Resilience by building self-healing patterns and fault-tolerant architectures that maintain service continuity during failures and traffic spikes. Collaborate with Design and Product by partnering closely with cross-functional teams to iterate on solutions, validate assumptions, and refine the user experience. Champion Cloud Infrastructure by managing AWS resources and containerization strategies to support scalable, secure, and efficient deployments. Drive Data-Driven Optimization by analyzing system performance and user interaction data to identify bottlenecks and guide improvements. Lead End-to-End Delivery by taking initiatives from initial concept through design, development, testing, and production launch with ownership of outcomes. Promote Knowledge Sharing by mentoring peers, documenting systems, and contributing to architectural decisions that elevate the entire engineering organization.

Requirements

You must demonstrate Proven ability to build products end-to-end with a track record of taking massive initiatives from concept to launch. You must show Deep proficiency in TypeScript/Next.js and Python with hands-on experience in our core technology stack. You must possess a Strong understanding of SQL, database design, cloud infrastructure, and containerization for scalable systems. You must have Proven experience with systems architecture and API design that is crisp, predictable, and versioned, along with queues, caching, background tasks, resilience, and self-healing patterns. You must maintain a Can-do attitude with intense curiosity about technology and the ability to adapt quickly in our fast-moving environment. You must have Experience with LLMs via API integration, empathy for users, and effective communication skills that ensure delivery matches the idea. A Bonus is awarded for prompt engineering experience and deep LLM optimization knowledge.
