About the role
In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for crafting and enhancing account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives aimed at DeepL's most valuable clients. Your efforts will focus on stimulating engagement and driving pipeline growth through the execution of multi-channel paid marketing campaigns. This role is a temporary contract lasting 12 months, specifically designed to cover maternity leave within the team.

What you'll do
- Conceptualize, launch, and optimize account-based marketing campaigns across diverse paid channels, including programmatic display and social media, ensuring accurate targeting and effective budget management.
- Execute A/B testing and other experimental approaches across ABM channels to improve engagement and conversion metrics for targeted accounts.
- Create innovative creative concepts and campaign formats specifically designed for target accounts, ensuring that all creative choices are directly linked to engagement, pipeline growth, or revenue generation.
- Act as the main marketing liaison for Field and Sales Development Representative (SDR) teams, ensuring alignment on buyer personas and success metrics for collaborative ABM projects.
- Oversee relationships with agencies and media partners, providing clear guidance and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with Field teams, SDRs, and regional marketing departments to ensure that ABM initiatives are integrated with consistent messaging across products and geographical areas.
- Develop comprehensive frameworks, playbooks, and channel guidelines to empower regional marketers in executing account-based strategies effectively.
- Lead the assessment, selection, and implementation of ABM technologies to create a scalable marketing technology ecosystem.
- Work closely with relevant teams to localize marketing assets and commission new creative materials, ensuring that all resources contribute positively to account outcomes.
- Manage ABM data and its integration with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and marketing automation tools, ensuring seamless data flow, precise targeting, and accurate reporting.
- Establish and report on ABM-specific metrics, such as account engagement levels, influenced pipeline figures, and win rates, providing insights to leadership.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a strong focus on hands-on management and optimization of account-based marketing campaigns.
- Extensive practical knowledge of paid and programmatic marketing channels, including campaign setup, targeting strategies, budget optimization, and performance analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with Field and SDR teams, showcasing strong communication skills and establishing credibility as a trusted partner.
- Experience in developing playbooks or frameworks that enable other marketing professionals to scale their ABM initiatives effectively.
- Proficient in defining key performance indicators (KPIs), utilizing CRM systems and reporting tools, and leveraging data to guide creative, targeting, and budgetary decisions at the account level.
- Capacity to advocate for impactful creative and campaign concepts while linking them to account engagement, pipeline growth, or revenue outcomes.
- Exceptional project management abilities, with a proven track record of independently handling multiple concurrent campaigns while effectively prioritizing tasks.
- Strong communication skills for aligning stakeholders across various teams, including Field, Marketing, regional departments, and leadership, as well as for presenting campaign performance results.
- A proactive mindset, comfortable taking ownership of results without relying heavily on a large support team.

Practical notes
- This position is based in London, offering a hybrid work arrangement that requires two days of in-office attendance each week.
