What you'll do
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination to attract top talent to Deciphex.
- Develop and implement onboarding programs that facilitate a smooth transition for new hires, ensuring they are well-integrated into the company culture.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace issues, providing timely and accurate information.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and assist in workforce planning to align with business objectives.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with data protection regulations.
- Support the performance management process by assisting in the development of performance reviews and providing guidance to managers on best practices.
- Organize and facilitate employee engagement initiatives, including team-building activities, training sessions, and wellness programs.
- Monitor and analyze employee feedback through surveys and exit interviews to identify areas for improvement within the organization.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that promote a fair and equitable workplace.
- Stay informed about HR trends and best practices to continuously improve the People Operations function.
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to manage employee benefits and compensation programs.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management on HR metrics and initiatives to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a human resources or people operations role, preferably in a technology or healthcare environment.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations in the UK.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools, including applicant tracking systems and HRIS.
- Experience in employee engagement and performance management initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Certification in Human Resources (CIPD or equivalent) is a plus.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting in an HR context.
- Familiarity with HR technology trends and tools, such as AI in recruitment.
- Knowledge of diversity and inclusion best practices in the workplace.
- Previous experience in a startup or rapidly growing organization.
Skills & tools
