What you'll do
- Lead the development and execution of clinical strategies that align with Deciphex's mission and objectives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical services.
- Collaborate with the technology and product development teams to integrate clinical insights into the design and enhancement of digital pathology solutions.
- Provide expert medical guidance to internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
- Oversee clinical trial design and implementation, including the evaluation of study protocols and the analysis of clinical data to support product development.
- Mentor and support clinical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the medical team.
- Engage with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders to promote Deciphex's products and services, enhancing the company's reputation in the medical community.
- Monitor industry trends and advancements in digital pathology, utilizing this knowledge to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clinical partners and institutions, facilitating collaboration on research initiatives and clinical studies.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of clinical documentation and reporting, adhering to best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the preparation of grant proposals and funding applications to support clinical research initiatives.
- Represent Deciphex at industry conferences, seminars, and workshops, showcasing our innovations and establishing thought leadership in the field.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop educational materials and resources that communicate the clinical value of Deciphex's offerings to healthcare providers.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school, with board certification in a relevant specialty.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical leadership role, preferably within the digital health or pathology sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing clinical operations and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in healthcare, particularly in relation to digital health technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex clinical data and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Experience in clinical trial design and execution, with a solid understanding of research methodologies.
- Familiarity with digital pathology and related technologies is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
