Product Manager, Enterprise Agent Platform
Job description
About the role
You will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for developer experience, integrations channels, and enterprise readiness across the Decagon platform. You own the end-to-end lifecycle of complex product initiatives, from discovery and scoping through launch and sustained adoption. You invent what customers want by turning the hardest parts of enterprise AI deployment into polished, productized capabilities. You will partner closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market to ensure our platform remains robust, scalable, and intuitive. As a founding product manager, you shape the foundational layer that every Decagon customer relies on to build and run their AI agents. You translate the messy reality of enterprise systems into clear product requirements and technical specifications. Your work directly unlocks the next wave of deployments for our largest customers in finance, healthcare, and retail. You thrive at the intersection of technical depth, customer empathy, and execution velocity.
Key facts
What you'll do
Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for developer experience, integrations channels, and enterprise readiness.
Decide what we build natively, what we make self-serve, and what we open up so customers and partners can extend it themselves.
Work with infrastructure and security on data handling, retention, and residency to meet strict enterprise requirements.
Drive channel and partner expansion with go-to-market and BD, including marketplace listings and co-sell motions.
Own integrations and connections that let agents act inside enterprise systems, from legacy mainframes to modern cloud APIs.
Champion headless and SDK deployment models so our platform fits seamlessly into existing CI/CD and DevOps workflows.
Define and own the external API surface and developer experience, ensuring it is intuitive, reliable, and well-documented.
Collaborate closely with design to craft product experiences that scale across channels like voice, chat, email, and SMS.
Lead discovery and scoping for features that solve the long tail of real-world enterprise environments and inconsistent APIs.
Translate complex security, compliance, and deployment constraints into clear product requirements for engineers.
Partner with sales and customer success on technical evaluations, proof of concepts, and security reviews for strategic accounts.
Analyze usage data and customer feedback to iterate on the platform and prioritize opportunities for maximum impact.
Own end-to-end delivery of major initiatives, coordinating across teams to launch features and drive high adoption.
Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, ecosystem builders, and platform teams to expand our reach.
Continuously benchmark our developer experience against industry standards and propose improvements to stay competitive.
Requirements
Have 6+ years of relevant experience in roles such as product manager, founder, engineer, or researcher.
Bring experience building integrations, API platforms, or developer-facing products where your users are other engineers.
You have shipped something where the hard part was the long tail: many systems, inconsistent APIs, and no clean abstraction handed to you.
You understand the requirements large enterprises impose before they will deploy anything, including security review, data handling, compliance artifacts, and deployment constraints.
You possess strong technical acumen and can hold your own with engineers on APIs, auth, and deployment models.
You can read a system design doc without needing it translated and engage deeply on architecture and tradeoffs.
You are comfortable in front of enterprise customers, including technical evaluations, security reviews, and complex procurement processes.
You have a track record of shipping features that moved a real metric in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
Nice to have
A Computer Science, Engineering, or Math degree, or equivalent technical experience that demonstrates deep problem-solving.
Hands-on experience with iPaaS, API platforms, SDKs, RPA, or browser automation in production environments.

A background in regulated industries like financial services, healthcare, or other highly governed sectors.
Experience with headless, single-tenant, or on-premise deployments in customer environments.
