What you'll do

• Lead and manage the field operations team, ensuring alignment with company goals and performance metrics.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all field activities.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of concern, providing actionable insights to senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and customer support, to ensure operations and customer satisfaction.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of field operations and drive accountability within the team.
• Oversee the training and development of field personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring optimal allocation to meet operational demands and financial targets.
• Foster a culture of safety and compliance within field operations, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
• Drive initiatives aimed at improving customer experience and operational efficiency, leveraging feedback from field teams and customers.
• Prepare and present regular reports to executive leadership, highlighting operational performance, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
• Act as a mentor and coach to team members, promoting professional growth and development within the organization.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, integrating relevant insights into operational strategies and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management, with a focus on field operations or performance management.
• Proven track record of leading teams and driving operational improvements in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated experience in budget management and resource allocation.
• Familiarity with operational performance metrics and experience in developing KPIs.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.

Nice to have

• Experience in the renewable energy sector or related industries.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
• Previous experience with CRM and ERP systems.
• Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the energy sector.
