What you'll do

• Collaborate with software developers, system architects, and project managers to design and implement integration solutions that meet business requirements.
• Analyze existing systems and applications to identify integration opportunities and recommend enhancements for improved performance.
• Develop and maintain integration processes using various middleware tools and APIs to ensure data consistency across platforms.
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
• Create comprehensive documentation for integration processes, including workflows, data mappings, and system configurations.
• Conduct testing and validation of integration solutions to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements.
• Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on newly integrated systems and processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve integration practices and methodologies.
• Work closely with the IT security team to ensure that all integrations comply with data protection regulations and organizational security policies.
• Participate in project planning and estimation activities, contributing to the overall success of integration initiatives.
• Assist in the development of best practices and standards for application integration within the organization.
• Foster strong relationships with external vendors and partners to facilitate effective integration of third-party applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in application integration or a similar role, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
• Proficiency in integration tools such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar middleware platforms.
• Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services, as well as API management.
• Experience with data transformation tools and techniques, including ETL processes.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for scripting and automation tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IoT (Internet of Things) technologies and their integration with software applications.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
• Previous experience in the energy sector or with energy management systems.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Certification in integration technologies or cloud services is a plus.
