This position focuses on establishing strong relationships with customers, comprehending their unique needs, and achieving both quarterly and annual sales objectives. As part of a rapidly growing startup, you will work in a fully remote environment, contributing to the company's success from anywhere in the United States.

What you'll do
- Take charge of the entire sales process, from the initial outreach to closing deals, within a fast-paced startup atmosphere.
- Partner with the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team to identify and secure new revenue opportunities.
- Interact with finance professionals to gain insights into their specific requirements and deliver customized solutions and proposals.
- Keep precise records of sales activities using CRM systems and various sales tools to ensure transparency and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients, ensuring consistent follow-up and engagement.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of Datarails' offerings to potential clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and refine sales tactics.
- Prepare and deliver sales forecasts and reports to senior management, providing insights into sales performance and market dynamics.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote Datarails' solutions.
- Continuously seek feedback from clients to improve service delivery and product offerings.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Account Executive, specifically in selling complex B2B SaaS products, ideally to finance executives (CFOs, VPs of Finance, Controllers), or in the financial services sector.
- Alternatively, candidates with 3 or more years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will be considered.
- Proven track record of consistently surpassing sales targets and quotas.
- Exceptional time management abilities to effectively juggle a large number of accounts and sales opportunities.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce, along with other sales enablement tools.
- Strong aptitude for understanding and articulating the technical and business needs of potential clients, guiding them toward suitable solutions.
- A self-driven and strategic mindset, capable of working independently, including engaging in outbound sales and structured selling techniques.

Practical notes

- The base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 USD, with the potential for generous on-target earnings (OTE). The final compensation package will be determined based on experience, value, and geographical location.
