What you'll do
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive product roadmap aimed at delivering the Datadog platform to clients in highly regulated sectors around the globe.
- Provide guidance to fellow product managers on navigating the complexities of regulated markets.
- Articulate technical concepts, including security frameworks and data flows, to both engineering teams and senior leadership, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to enhance go-to-market strategies and initiatives.
- Work in tandem with Information Security and Compliance Engineering teams to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Identify and rectify deficiencies in current product offerings by engaging with post-sales, sales, and marketing teams to gather insights.
- Oversee the responsible integration and delivery of AI functionalities tailored for customers in regulated industries.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact product strategy.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to foster collaboration and innovation within the product development process.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to inform future enhancements and strategic decisions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance and regulatory issues, providing insights that drive product development.
- Lead initiatives to educate internal teams about compliance requirements and best practices in regulated markets.
Requirements
- A minimum of five years of experience in B2B or SaaS environments, particularly in roles related to compliance, product management, global public sector engineering, or product marketing.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical, security, and executive stakeholders, including CTOs and CISOs.
- A solid understanding of global data sovereignty regulations and compliance standards relevant to various industries.
- A keen interest in emerging technologies and the dynamic landscape of compliance policies, with a proactive approach to learning.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Nice to have
- Experience working directly with clients in the financial services, public sector, or healthcare industries, providing valuable insights into their unique compliance challenges.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience in leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous involvement in developing or managing products that cater to regulated markets, enhancing your understanding of industry-specific requirements.

- The salary range for this position is between $192,000 and $240,000 USD annually.
