You will own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for Datadog Incident Response, shaping how the organization brings Incident Management, On-Call, and Incident AI to market. You will act as the expert voice for the product area, aligning sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and positioning. You will create compelling narratives that translate complex technical capabilities into clear customer value. The role requires you to operate across the entire incident lifecycle, from alert generation to resolution, within Datadog's unified observability and security platform. You will leverage data and customer insights to refine programs and prove the impact of marketing initiatives. What you'll do
Develop and own the comprehensive go-to-market strategy for Datadog Incident Response products, positioning Incident Management, On-Call, and Incident AI against evolving market demands.
Create high-impact launch materials, including slide decks, blog content, product demonstrations, webinar scripts, and solution briefs that communicate the value of the Incident Response suite.
Build and maintain sales enablement assets such as battlecards, pitch decks, and live demos, ensuring they are grounded in rigorous market and competitive analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute integrated campaigns across webinars, paid media, organic channels, and sponsored events.
Drive customer marketing programs, including the development of case studies, testimonials, and success stories that highlight measurable outcomes and customer ROI.
Identify and pursue new growth opportunities to accelerate adoption and expansion of Incident Response products across existing and new customer segments.
Lead cross-team initiatives and special projects that require strategic alignment and coordinated execution across Product, Sales, and Marketing.
Translate technical product roadmaps into narratives that resonate with technical audiences, including developers, SREs, and IT operations professionals.
Analyze market feedback and campaign performance to iterate on messaging and optimize demand generation efforts over time.
Represent the Incident Response product line in internal and external forums, ensuring alignment with Datadog's overall vision and positioning.
Champion the adoption of Incident Response features by creating educational content that addresses common operational challenges and best practices.
Partner with customer success and product teams to surface and amplify customer wins that validate the effectiveness of the platform.
Requirements
You bring 3 or more years of experience in product marketing, go-to-market strategy, or related roles focused on marketing highly technical products.
You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, collaborating effectively with stakeholders across Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Enablement.
You are a strong problem solver who can identify gaps, propose actionable solutions, and operationalize them into scalable marketing programs.
You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to create compelling content and deliver clear presentations to technical audiences.
You are a proactive self-starter who takes full ownership of projects, driving them from initial concept through to successful execution.
You can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
You are passionate about technology and have a solid understanding of modern engineering workflows, operational practices, and the tools and processes teams use to build, operate, and troubleshoot their systems.
You demonstrate integrity and a commitment to collaboration, aligning your work with Datadog's values and cross-functional culture.
