About the role
In this contract role, you will play a vital part in facilitating the hiring process at Datadog, contributing to the company's growth. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the logistics associated with recruiting, ensuring that candidates have a seamless experience from application to onboarding. You will collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to uphold high operational standards throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

What you'll do
- Oversee the entire interview process, which includes scheduling interviews, arranging travel for candidates, and generating offer letters.
- Ensure that job postings are current and that data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is accurate and up-to-date.
- Welcome candidates during office tours and create a welcoming atmosphere to enhance their onsite experience.
- Assist in the training of new interviewers to expand the panel and improve the interview process.
- Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to streamline and enhance recruitment workflows.
- Organize and facilitate onboarding sessions for new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including recruiters, hiring managers, and people business partners, to keep everyone informed throughout the hiring process.
- Monitor and report on recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement in the hiring process.
- Support the development and implementation of best practices in recruiting to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss recruitment strategies and share insights on candidate feedback.
- Assist in the coordination of recruitment events, such as job fairs or networking events, to attract potential candidates.
- Provide administrative support to the recruiting team as needed, including managing documentation and maintaining records.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in recruiting coordination or a similar administrative role.
- Strong organizational abilities that allow for effective management of multiple tasks and priorities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and effective interaction with candidates and team members.
- A high degree of discretion when dealing with sensitive or confidential information.
- A meticulous attention to detail, especially when handling high-volume tasks that require accuracy.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

- Experience in a technology or software company, providing insight into the unique recruiting challenges in this sector.
- Familiarity with various interview techniques and assessment methods to enhance candidate evaluation.
