About the role

As an SAP BRIM Developer at Datacore Systems, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our billing and revenue management solutions. This position focuses on the SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) suite, specifically within the areas of Subscription Order Management (SOM), Convergent Invoicing (CI), Convergent Charging (CC), and Financial Contract Accounting (FICA). Your expertise will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions that meet our clients' unique business needs. This contract position is based in Middletown, Pennsylvania, and offers a competitive salary.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for SAP BRIM solutions, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
• Design and implement technical solutions within the SAP BRIM framework, focusing on SOM, CI, CC, and FICA modules.
• Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs and enhancements to optimize billing processes and improve system performance.
• Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing SAP BRIM implementations, addressing any issues that arise post-deployment.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all development work, including technical specifications, user guides, and training materials.
• Participate in project planning and status meetings, providing updates on development progress and potential roadblocks.
• Stay current with SAP BRIM updates and industry best practices, recommending improvements and new features to enhance system capabilities.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices in SAP BRIM development and implementation.
• Assist in the integration of SAP BRIM with other SAP modules and third-party applications to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
• Collaborate with business analysts to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the billing lifecycle.
• Engage with clients to understand their specific needs and customize solutions accordingly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP BRIM development, with a strong focus on SOM, CI, CC, and FICA.
• Proficiency in ABAP programming language and experience with SAP development tools.
• Solid understanding of billing processes and revenue management concepts within the SAP ecosystem.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and integration with other SAP modules is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 for developing user-friendly interfaces.
• Knowledge of cloud-based SAP solutions and their integration with on-premise systems.
• Certification in SAP BRIM or related SAP modules.
• Previous experience in a consulting role, working directly with clients to implement SAP solutions.
• Understanding of data migration strategies and tools within the SAP landscape.
