As a SAP BRIM Data Migration Architect at Bamboohr, you will play a pivotal role in the successful migration of data within the SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) framework. What you'll do

• Lead the design and implementation of data migration strategies for SAP BRIM projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements, translating them into actionable migration plans.
• Develop and execute data mapping and transformation processes to ensure seamless integration of legacy data into the SAP BRIM environment.
• Conduct thorough testing of data migration processes, identifying and resolving issues to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Create comprehensive documentation for data migration procedures, including mapping specifications, transformation rules, and testing protocols.
• Provide guidance and support to project teams throughout the migration lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and methodologies.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
• Stay updated on the latest SAP BRIM features and enhancements, leveraging this knowledge to optimize data migration processes.
• Train and mentor junior team members on data migration techniques and SAP BRIM functionalities.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure that data governance and compliance standards are met during the migration process.
• Participate in post-migration reviews to assess the success of the migration and identify areas for improvement.
• Engage with clients to provide updates and gather feedback, ensuring that their needs are met throughout the migration process.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Migration Architect, specifically within the SAP BRIM environment, with a minimum of 5 years in data migration roles.
• Strong understanding of SAP BRIM functionalities, including billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition processes.
• Proficiency in data migration tools and methodologies, with hands-on experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
• Strong project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices in data management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving capabilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with other SAP modules, such as SAP S/4HANA or SAP Analytics Cloud, is a plus.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL or ABAP for data manipulation and reporting.
• Certification in SAP BRIM or related SAP modules is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in a consulting role, particularly in a client-facing capacity, is advantageous.
