About the role

As a Senior MS Dynamics CRM Data Migration Developer at Datacore Systems, you will play a critical role in the successful migration of data to Microsoft Dynamics CRM systems. What you'll do

• Design and implement comprehensive data migration strategies for clients transitioning to MS Dynamics CRM, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the process.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and understand the specific data needs of each client.
• Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to facilitate the migration of data from legacy systems to MS Dynamics CRM.
• Conduct thorough data mapping and transformation analysis to ensure that all data is correctly aligned with the new system's structure.
• Create and execute test plans to validate data migration processes, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting during the migration process, ensuring that any challenges are addressed promptly and effectively.
• Document all migration processes, methodologies, and results to maintain a clear record for future reference and compliance purposes.
• Stay updated with the latest features and best practices related to MS Dynamics CRM and data migration techniques, applying this knowledge to improve processes continuously.
• Train and mentor junior developers and team members on data migration best practices and the use of MS Dynamics CRM.
• Participate in client meetings to present migration progress and address any concerns or questions they may have.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies throughout the migration process.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure that all data is handled securely and in accordance with industry standards.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data migration, specifically with MS Dynamics CRM or similar CRM platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems, including data extraction and transformation techniques.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data mapping, and ETL processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, including customization and configuration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
• Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards, particularly in relation to data privacy regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Data Factory or similar cloud-based data integration tools.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C# or JavaScript for custom development within MS Dynamics CRM.
• Previous experience working in a consulting environment or with multiple clients simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
