What you'll do

Manage and oversee the preparation and submission of Labor Condition Applications (LCA) to ensure compliance with U.S. Department of Labor regulations.
Collaborate with HR and legal teams to gather necessary documentation and information required for LCA filings.
Monitor and track the status of submitted LCAs, ensuring timely responses to any inquiries or requests for additional information from government agencies.
Conduct regular audits of LCA documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Provide guidance and support to employees regarding the LCA process, including answering questions and clarifying procedures.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of LCA filings and related documentation for easy access and reference.
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to LCA activities for internal stakeholders.
Stay updated on changes in immigration laws and regulations that may impact LCA processes and advise the team accordingly.
Work closely with external legal counsel to address any complex issues that may arise during the LCA application process.
Participate in training sessions to educate staff on LCA compliance and best practices.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of LCA management.
Support the overall immigration strategy of the organization by providing insights and recommendations based on LCA trends and data analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in immigration compliance, specifically with Labor Condition Applications.
Strong understanding of U.S. immigration laws and regulations, particularly those related to LCA processes.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data management and reporting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them to practical situations.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with employees and government agencies.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Nice to have

Experience with immigration case management software or tools.
Certification in immigration law or related fields (e.g., AILA membership).
Familiarity with other immigration processes beyond LCA, such as H-1B or PERM applications.
Previous experience working in a consulting environment.
Knowledge of additional languages is a plus, enhancing communication with diverse employee backgrounds.
